Heller 1/48 Mirage IV P Plastic Model Kit

The ASMP program was launched in 1978 to develop an optimized medium-range air-to-surface missile for the future Mirage 2000N. It was decided to convert 18 Mirage IVA bombers into IVP models, a so-called penetration version, capable of carrying the CT52 detection container with cameras and infrared thermal detectors, until the new bomber entered service. The first operational squadron at Mont-de-Marsan was equipped with the new supersonic missile on May 1, 1986. This missile carried a nuclear warhead and could also be fitted with a conventional warhead for use as a deterrent.
