Very Fire 1/350 scale USS Salem CA-139 (Deluxe Edition) plastic model kit. The third USS Salem (CA-139) served as one of three Des Moines-class heavy cruisers built for the United States Navy in the immediate post-World War II period. Commissioned in 1949, she was the final heavy cruiser to join any naval fleet and remains the sole surviving example of her class. Following decommissioning in 1959, she saw service throughout the Atlantic and Mediterranean theaters. Currently preserved and maintained as a museum vessel in Quincy, Massachusetts.
