Trumpeter 1/35 M1078A1P2 Plastic Model Kit

The M1078 standard-duty truck is designed to transport cargo and troops. The M1078 can carry 5,000 pounds of cargo, and its hinged side panels can be lowered for easy loading and unloading. The cargo box can be fitted with optional seats for transporting troops. These chairs are no longer made of wood; they are attached to the side panels and can be folded up when not in use. A ladder is included for entry and exit, which can be stored underneath the vehicle. A canvas awning and racks provide some protection for cargo and passengers. The M1078 can be optionally equipped with a self-rescue winch, which can be deployed from the front or rear of the vehicle. The winch has a 308-foot-long towing rope and a pulling capacity of 10,000 pounds.
