Trumpeter 1/35 280mm K5 (E) Leopold German Railroad Gun Crew

Description This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display. This is the Trumpeter version of the artillery crew set for the Leopold railway gun (TRP00207 & DRA6200). Contrary to the relaxed posture seen in Dragon's set, Trumpeter's eight figures are in full action. As shown, three of them are the rammer team in charge of pushing projectiles and propelling charge cases into the breech. To perfectly represent the combined action of two soldiers, Trumpeter has provided a set of special plastic jig, copper rod and separated hands, enabling you to put two figures in line along the axis of the rammer rod. Trumpeter also shows off their skill in meshing core techniques with some of the parts in this set. The ventilation holes on the top and bottom faces of the barrel guard of MG42 LMG, often neglected in previous kits, are molded; and the securing hook and carrying ring on the short sides of the MG ammunition box are molded, too. The figures are in mid to late-war pattern uniform (Dragon's figures are in the early-war pattern), so this set would be more suitable for a diorama with "Anzio Annie" in Italy.
