Driving Realism

Unlimited Desert Racer is engineered on an authentic, true to scale 4-wheel drive desert race truck chassis. The 4-link solid rear axle design provides huge suspension travel with authentic driving dynamics. From the cantilever sway bars to the 8 GTR shocks, Traxxas accurately reproduced a full-scale race chassis in both form and function.

Extreme 6s Power

The 50+ mph UDR delivers its pro-level performance with brutal 6s power. The VXL-6s ESC combines massive power handling with high-tech telemetry features. An ultra-tough drivetrain harnesses the extreme power to make it easy to control and fun to drive.

Chassis

Solid Rear Axle

Unlimited Desert Racer's unique rear axle comes with 4-link geometry to eliminate torque twist. It puts 6S power to the fround like nothing else, tracking arrow straight while accelerating and then rotating on demand for effortless on-throttle power slides. The authentic true-scale driving dynamics challenge your skills behind the wheel in fun and exciting new ways.

Rugged Tube Cage

The beautifully scuplted tibe framework integrates fully with the chassis and suspension to form an incredibly strong, lightweight structure for the shocks and suspension components to mount. The realistic design even includes the tin panels so the race chassis looks just as good with the body off for pre-race practice run.

Traxxas Stability Management

Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) keeps teh front end locked on course, allowing the driver to accelerate hard and straight and ecen slide out the rear with confidence. TSM never kills the fun by cutting throttle or slowing down the truck. Adjust the amount of assistance from 100% right from your transmitter.

Twin GTR Shocks

Twin GTR shocks at each corner replicate full-scale desert truck performance in perfect scale while delivering a plush ride through deep whoops and the roughest section of the course.

4-Link Rear Suspension

Massice trailing arms and heavy-duty linkages, along with the functional limiting straps, keep the solid acle firmly in control. The precision engineered 4-link geometry rewards driver dinesse with responsive and predictable handling as you rotate the truck and steer with tht throttle through the tight sections of the course.

Heav-Duty Steel Drivetrain

The drive system uses thick steel axles and an all steel-gear drivetrain to drive all four wheels. Heavy-duty centre driveshafts transfer power to heavy-duty steel ring and pinion gears front and rear. 4-wheel drive delivers maximum acceleration off-road

Direct Drive Transmission

Large steel spur and pinion gears provide the ultimate in toughness and durablity. The Torque-Biasing centre drive distributes power between the front and rear for maximum traction on any surface. there's no clutch to slip, just instant power on tap when you need it. The entire transmission and motor remove as a single unit for easy maintainence.
