TAMIYA 1/14 R/C Mercedes Benz Arocs 4151 8x4 Tipper

The first 8x4 tipper truck in the series, recreates the Arocs 4151 from the world’s leading truck manufacturer, Daimler AG (Germany). The highly detailed body is joined by a big bed at the rear, which can even be controlled by transmitter with installation of the separately sold Actuator Unit (Item T56545), and a superbly realistic chassis that will provide an rewarding build and drive.
This is a 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 667mm, Width: 196mm, height: 268mm.
Superb injection moulded body, cab rails, intake duct and other details. Separate side mirrors etc.
Both front axles are steered, via a single servo. Wheels turn realistically at slightly different angles.
4-axle chassis has a tough ladder frame with aluminium side channels and resin cross members.
Features a brand new truck bed section comprised of metal subframe for superb durability.
Install the separately sold Actuator Set (Item T56545) for realistic truck bed motion.
TR mighty-tuned motor (35T) provides twin rear axles with ample power to carry loads in truck bed.
Battery case is located over the second axle, allows access even when there are loads in the bed.
The roof features light pods on the visor, which can be fitted with LEDs for a realistic finish.
3-speed transmission can be controlled via a separately sold 4ch R/C transmitter.
Metal leaf spring dampers with built-in coil springs provide durable suspension.
Use separately-sold MFC-03 (Item T56523) (or MFC-01, Item T56511) for realistic lights and sounds.

This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Arocs 4151 8x4 dump truck (gross vehicle weight: 41t), which runs on a 12.8-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine capable of 510hp.

Behind the cab, a realistic one-piece resin bed is reinforced with a metal frame, while the ladder frame chassis features aluminum side channels with resin cross members.

The two front axles are steered via a single servo, and power from the front-mounted TR Mighty Tuned Motor (35T) is delivered to rear axles via propeller shaft, with a built-in differential gear on each rear axle for smooth cornering.

Its highly-realistic suspension utilizes metal leaf springs and friction dampers.

Tandem die-cast front axles have individual leaf springs, and reinforced resin rear axles are a trunnion design.
