Tamiya 1/10 1998 Honda NSX Racing 4WD RC Car Kit

This is a limited-edition version of the Honda NSX Racing . (Item 58739) It includes a pre-painted body, cut out wheel arches and premade body mount holes that makes the body construction process simpler for beginner builders.

The kit recreates the 1998 Honda NSX Racing! The version in this release is minus any sponsorship livery so you may create your own or simply paint the car as you wish. It sits on top of our easy to assemble and maintain 4WD TT-02 chassis.

The NSX - a midship engine sports car released in 1990 – achieved success in races all over the world and took part in Japanese GT car races from 1996. The 1998 version employed a 3.5-liter V6 engine, and featured improved aerodynamics, low center of gravity, improved brake system and easier maintenance. Four cars were raced that year and achieved five victories.

TT-02: Adaptable, Balanced Shaft Driven 4WD

The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports.

• Polycarbonate body pre-painted in Tamiya White (PS-1). Windows are tinted in Tamiya Smoke (PS-31).
• The model utilizes the shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis which features superior adaptability and stability.
• Gun metal 6-spoke wheels are paired with racing slick tires.
• Comes with trim stickers and window masking stickers for use in the paint job.
• Includes ESC and 540-Type brushed motor.

It is also easy to assemble and maintain, thanks to its symmetrical suspension arms and uprights, and simple gearboxes.

You can customise the chassis to suit your preferences, as it has 2 options for wheelbase, ground clearance and tread, as well as 10 possible gear ratios.

The chassis also looks cool, with wheel hubs that look like brake discs and sleek front bumper supports.
