William Lendrum "Billy" Mitchell was initially a major general in the U.S. Army, but after his retirement in 1926, was instrumental in driving the expansion of the American Air Force until 1936. The twin-engine, medium-weight B-25J bomber was named after him. The B-25 bombers saw service in World War II beginning in 1940 and were used by several factions. The Type J was the most widely used bomber of the series, with 4,318 produced. Authentic surface details. Detailed cockpit with dashboard.
