First flown in 1975 and operational by 1978, the F-4G specialized in jamming and attacking enemy air defense radars while suppressing air defense systems. Its versatile design accommodated multiple weapon configurations and demonstrated exceptional maneuverability. The F-4G remained the sole U.S. Air Force SEAD option during the 1991 Gulf War. This officially Boeing Company-licensed MENG LS-015 1/48 model assembles to 399mm length and 245mm width. Included are a metal pitot tube, pre-cut stainless steel photoetch parts, painting masks, and three paint schemes. Armament options consist of one AN/ALQ-119 ECM pod, one AN/ALQ-131 ECM pod, AIM-7M Sparrow air-to-air missiles, and AGM-88 HARM high-speed anti-radiation missiles. Leading edge slats and flaps are positionable in both retracted and deployed configurations.
