Kato N Series E353 Azusa starter set

This set includes a four car Japanese Series 221 EMU detailed in JR Kansai livery. It also includes a M1 starter oval with rerailer, controller and UK power pack. The track just clips together and can be taken apart with ease which makes it an ideal system to start out with. There is no soldering required to connect the controller to the track as the feeder wire just inserts under the track and plugs into the controller. This set can be extended by using any of the Variation Packs or by using the rest of the Kato Unitrack range. Series E353, which started commercial operation in December 2017, is the successor to the E257 series and E351 series, which were previously active in [Azusa] and [Kaiji]. It adopts an air spring type car body tilting device, and it is a major feature that it has the same curve passing performance as Series E351.

The simple yet powerful design, with its alpine white body and Azusa violet band, symbolizes the next-generation limited express train. Currently active in "Super Azusa", "Azusa" and "Kaiji".

- The vehicles included in the set are the same as 10-1834 E353 series "Azusa/Kaiji" basic set (4 cars).

- The power pack is easy to use and uses a high output (1.2A) “Power Pack Standard SX” and a “starter dedicated AC adapter”.

- The unitrack line is composed of one endless lap equivalent to the M1 set. By adding the Unitrack "V Track Set Series", it is possible to develop various tracks!

- The attached plan variation guide is a treasure trove of track plans. You can enjoy a more expansive system deployment.

- There is a "secret pocket" in the package, where you can store the case of the vehicle set you purchased later, the track, etc.
