Kato N Glacier Express 4 Car Add-on Set

The popular and classic Glacier Express is back with a new specification, incorporating the luxurious new "Excellence Class" passenger cars.
The actual train traverses the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, running from Zermatt to St. Moritz, spanning two railway companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, and taking a leisurely 8 hours to complete the journey. It is a popular panoramic sightseeing train where passengers can enjoy the magnificent Alpine scenery from the windows. In 2019, the "Excellence Class," an even higher class than first class, was introduced, bringing changes to the conventional passenger cars as well.

Kato will be producing a model incorporating the luxurious new "Excellence Class" passenger cars that appeared in 2019. The conventional first and second class passenger cars have also been updated with some interior details and seat colors, creating a lineup that allows you to enjoy the current Glacier Express. The Ge4/4-III will also be reproduced with its refurbished exterior.
