In 2007, the Fiat Group unveiled the successor to the iconic Italian car: the Fiat 500. The design was immediately deemed extremely interesting, adopting stylistic solutions, interpreted in a modern and contemporary key, that hark back to the "classic" Fiat 500, which debuted on the market in 1957. Based on the Fiat 500, the interesting 500 Abarth version was also created, following in the footsteps of the historic small Fiat sports car produced since the late 1950s. The "Abarth" differs from its predecessor with its decidedly sporty design, featuring air intakes, side skirts, and larger bumpers. Significant changes were also made to the mechanicals, with a supercharged engine capable of guaranteeing excellent performance, sports exhausts with a distinctive sound, and lowered suspension for enhanced road holding.
