The British Rail Class 43 (HST) is the TOPS classification used for the InterCity 125 High Speed Train (formerly Classes 253 and 254) power cars, built by British Rail Engineering Limited from 1975 to 1982, and in service in the UK since 1976.

Both 43480 and 43484 are both part of Rail Adventure’s first dive onto British rails, with the company previously only being based out of Germany. Prior to their purchase, the units were owned and operated by Angel Trains and Great Central. Both 43480 and 43484 were outshopped from the painters in Rail Adventure grey on the 19 th April 2021. Both units were both part of a British Rail Initiative, with both units being among a total of 14 to be fitted with buffers on the front, to act as a DVT unit for high speed services on the East Coast Mainline.
