Inspired by his mentor, Tom, who constructed the Oro Jackson for the Roger Pirates, Franky spent 200,000,000 beri on the rare Adam Wood to construct the Thousand Sunny. The combination of Franky's shipbuilding expertise and the Adam Wood hull makes the Thousand Sunny highly resistant to conventional attacks, making it ideal for navigating the dangerous waters of the New World. With nearly four times as many cannons as their previous ship, the Going Merry, including the powerful Goan Cannon at the bow and the Coup de Burst at the stern, the Thousand Sunny is much more offensively capable. Its extravagant design has won the hearts of One Piece fans since its introduction over 15 years ago.This snap-build kit is easy to assemble without any tools required, as Bandai designed each part to pop right off the runner.
