Introduced in 1959 as the “world's premier trainer”, the Model 150 byCessna® Aircraft Companywas produced more than 20,000 times over two decades, helping thousands of new civilian pilots take to the skies successfully. Following the release of the original E-flite Carbon-Z® Cessna 150 2.1m, it also earned high esteem for its wide flight capabilities, making it the perfect first giant-scale model or everyday fun-to-fly model for a broad range of pilots. Now, E-flite has introduced their latest version as the Carbon-Z Cessna 150T with the taildragger landing gear and other upgrades making it the Smartest, most convenient, most capable, and easiest to fly giant-scale model of the civil aviation legend ever. The oversized tundra-style tyres on the main gear and a steerable tailwheel allow the Carbon-Z Cessna 150T to fly from a larger variety of surfaces including rough terrain. If you prefer the original Carbon-Z Cessna’s tricycle landing gear, smaller tyres, wheel pants and floats, they are also available to purchase separately. Optional DU-BRO skis and optional floats are also available.

The high-power brushless outrunner motor and Spektrum™ Avian™ 60-amp Smart ESC are compatible with a wide range of batteries. You can use 4S LiPo for slow, scale-like flying, a 5S for more power or a 6S for the highest performance. If you’re wanting to keep the weight and wing loading down, you can use a 3200mah battery, or install a 5000mAh pack for a great balance of handling and performance. For flight times up to 10-15+ minutes, you can choose a 7000mAh battery. When combined with the Spektrum AR637TA receiver/a compatible Spektrum Smart receiver, you can receive real-time telemetry data, as well as AS3X (Artificial Stabilization 3 aXis)® and the optional SAFE® Select technology. There is an optional use motor reversing feature to enable ground handling in tight spots, if you have a 7+ channel transmitter.

No matter how you choose to fly, the durable, metal-geared servos deliver crisp and precise control, while the composite, reinforced, hollow-core, EPO construction results in a lightweight, yet durable frame. The functional flaps prove to be very effective for shorter take-offs and landings, and the LED landing, navigation and strobe lights add to the realism of the aircraft. No tools are required to install or remove the two-piece wing - the thumbscrews and exclusive hands-free servo connection system mean you can be ready in just a few minutes.

Fly SAFE with the Spektrum receiver

If you own a Spektrum transmitter already then getting the E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150T 2.1m airborne will be even easier. With the servos, power system and 2.4GHz Spektrum receiver already installed it is simply a matter of binding the receiver to your transmitter and you are ready for take-off!

The Spektrum DSMX receiver fitted in theE-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150T 2.1mfeatures the AS3X (Artificial Stabilization 3 aXis) system that nullifies the effects of turbulence and wind by working behind the scenes to provide increased precision and stability when your RC plane experiences non-optimal flying conditions.

SAFE Select is optional technology that gives the E-flite Carbon-Z Cessna 150T 2.1m an extra margin of safety by enabling features that will ensure your flight envelope is limited to keep you out of trouble until you are a better flyer or have familiarized yourself with the controls. No programming is required to engage SAFE Select as it is built into the receiver. You just need to follow the manual directions and change up the binding sequence to switch it on.
