Dragon 1/35 T-35/85 UTZ Mod.1944 Plastic Model Kit

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The T-34 tank is recognized as the best tank of WWII; even the Germans who fought against them admitted it. Its speed and agility in swampy and snowy terrain, the large calibre gun and the slanted armor, provided an unpleasant shock to the previously triumphant Geman Panzer troops and tank designers who had until then believed they were the best. It is not too much to say that the T-34 turned the tide of the War. The T-34/85 was a later model of the T-34 series, first deployed in 1943; it had stronger firepower with its 85mm gun, intended to defeat the heavily-armored German Tigers and Panthers. This kit depicts the early production model, T-34/85 UTZ Mod. 1944.

The parts for the rounded front mud guards, commander cupola with split hatches, spoked road wheels and sprocket wheels typically seen on this model are all contained. Tracks are the injection plastic individual track link type. Decals are beautifully printed by Cartograf, known around the world for their superb quality. An optional replacement flamethrower nozzle for the OT-34 is also included. No figure included. Some cutting will be required to replace the front mud guards.
