Das Werk 1/35 Kanonenjagdpanzer/Beobachtungspanzer Plastic Model Kit This model represents the Kanonenjagdpanzer, a West German tank destroyer armed with a 40.4 caliber 90mm anti-tank gun that entered service in 1960. The vehicle saw extensive use during the Cold War alongside the Leopard 1. When Soviet T-62 and T-72 tanks emerged, many Kanonenjagdpanzers were converted to the Yaguaru variant with anti-tank missiles, while others were reconfigured as observation platforms (Beobachtungspanzer). Belgium imported 80 units beginning in 1975, designating them JPK-90. The kit features link-and-length tracks and includes decals for four separate configurations. Note: figures are not supplied.
