For nearly a decade, the Blade 150 S helped many pilots learn to fly and advance their collective pitch helicopter skills. The Revolution 155 CP builds on that legacy with meaningful updates that make it more affordable, easier to fly, and more capable than ever. It features exclusive and innovative SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology that offers angle limits and improved self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode, and no limits in all other flight modes – plus Panic Recovery to “bail out” at the push of a button if you ever need it!

The Revolution 155 CP arrives 100% factory-assembled and flight-tested, so it's ready to fly right out of the box. The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes everything needed to fly in one box so it's a perfect choice for first-time to experienced pilots looking for maximum convenience and value. Plus, the included Spektrum DXS 2.4GHz transmitter can be used with other Bind-N-Fly® (BNF) and BNF Basic aircraft after you learn to fly the Revolution 155 successfully! A Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version is also available for pilots who want to use their current Spektrum transmitter along with batteries and chargers they may already own. And both versions include a Spektrum flybarless flight controller and receiver loaded with a Smart Transmitter File that allows you to import all settings for NX and iX series transmitters automatically during the binding process to make it easier and faster to get flying with your favorite or upgraded transmitter.

The RTF version also includes a “full” copy of the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator that runs on a wide variety of PCs (Personal Computers) from low-cost laptops to “gaming” desktops running Windows® 10 or 11. This simulator features many of the most popular Horizon Hobby trainer airplanes and helicopters, including the Revolution 155, along with built-in Virtual Flight Instructor lessons. It also includes additional features including nearly two dozen “Next Step After a Trainer” (Skill Level 2) aircraft and variants plus 4 flying sites/fields that are unlockable reward content after you fly the trainer models for just 2–4 hours. Other added features include a fresh and modern user interface that's even easier and more intuitive to use, multiplayer options so you can train and fly with others online, the option to turn on wind, unlock float flying, and more! This helps new pilots learn to fly successfully by practicing on a desktop PC at home or on a laptop just about anywhere else. Simply use a USB-C cable to connect the updated and upgraded DXS controller/transmitter to a compatible USB port on your computer to fly!

And the fun doesn't stop after you learn how to fly! In the Stunt/Idle Up flight modes the Revolution 155 CP is capable of performing basic aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls, inverted (upside down) flight, and more. It's even capable of all-out 3D aerobatics whether you're an experienced pilot or are just learning to perform them.

Skill Level 1 aircraft, like this one, are perfect for beginners and first-time RC (Radio Controlled) helicopter pilots because no prior experience is required to fly them!

Ready-To-Fly Basic Convenience

This Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes a Spektrum DXS controller/transmitter equipped with industry-leading DSMX 2.4GHz technology and everything else you need to fly including AA batteries for the transmitter, a rechargeable lithium polymer battery for the helicopter, and a USB charger. That means there's nothing extra to buy so you can fly! The included transmitter can also be used with other Bind-N-Fly (BNF) RC aircraft equipped with Spektrum DSMX 2.4GHz compatible receivers. Plus, it can be used with the included full version of the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator!

Exclusive Technologies

The factory-installed and expertly-tuned AR6250MHXG flybarless flight controller features exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE technologies. The updated SAFE technology features angle limits and improved self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode. AS3X smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence with no limits or self-leveling in all other flight modes so you can fly inverted and perform aerobatics too. Plus, you can use Panic Recovery to “bail out” at the push and hold of a button if you ever need it!

Telemetry Capable

The Revolution 155 is equipped with a Spektrum Smart ESC, flight controller, and a receiver that provides real-time overall flight battery voltage, motor RPM, and other telemetry information to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DXS, DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.

Learn to Fly Successfully with SAFE® Technology

If this is your first RC helicopter, Horizon Hobby-exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology prevents over-control and crashes while also offering multiple flight modes to deliver more control and capabilities as your skills progress:

Normal (SAFE) Mode

In this flight mode, the helicopter has pitch and bank angle limits to prevent over-control that can result in a loss of orientation and crashes. When the control sticks are released, the helicopter automatically returns to level flight on its own allowing you to relax and enjoy just 'steering' the helicopter through the sky rather than focusing on keeping it level. This flight mode also makes it much easier to take off and land!

Stunt/Idle Up 1 (AS3X) Mode

There are no pitch or bank angle limits in this flight mode, so you have complete control! The head speed is higher and more constant than in the Normal mode which allows you to fly inverted (upside down) and perform basic aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls and more.

Stunt/Idle Up 2 (AS3X) Mode

In this flight mode there are no limits and the head speed is even higher so you can perform more aggressive and 3D aerobatic maneuvers.

Panic Recovery

If you lose control of the helicopter in the Stunt/Idle Up flight modes, simply press and hold the Panic Recovery button or switch to Normal mode and release the right-hand control stick. SAFE technology will automatically return the helicopter to upright and level flight!

Collective Pitch

The CP (Collective Pitch) main rotor head assembly offers smooth control to deliver a unique blend of hovering, sport, and aerobatic flying capabilities you can't get with FP (Fixed Pitch) mechanics.

Durable Precision

The upgraded digital, metal-geared cyclic servos along with an updated composite frame design featuring optimized servo geometry delivers added precision and capabilities.

High Power

The very powerful and efficient brushless main motor – plus the more powerful and lighter tail motor with a new tail prop for improved tail performance and yaw control – are connected to a factory-installed Spektrum Dual Smart ESC and are compatible with popular and affordable 3S 450mAh batteries with durable and reliable IC2 connectors (or use a compatible IC2 adapter).
