The change immediately paid dividends at the opening round of the 2026 season, the Sydney 500, where Golding delivered a standout performance. He stormed to pole position and converted it into a strong race result, finishing third in an impressive debut outing with his new team.

Golding’s pole position placed him alongside teammate Aaron Cameron on the front row, securing a historic first for Blanchard Racing Team with a front-row lockout. The momentum continued through the race, with both drivers achieving a double podium finish.

Now behind the wheel of the #7 Ford Mustang GT Supercar, Golding represents CoolDrive Racing in striking fashion. The car’s bold blue livery, accented by sharp white jagged stripes and complemented by black wheels, reflects both aggression and precision.

The CoolDrive cars are year-on-year one of the best looking cars on the grid, and Golding's 2026 challenger is no exception - marking it an important release for collectors.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.
