In the early 1980s, car enthusiasts were swept up in the excitement of a racing series called the “Super Silhouette Series.” These monster machines, which retained traces of production models like the Skyline and Silvia, were outfitted with flashy aero parts and featured ultra-lightweight bodies weighing just under a ton. Equipped with turbocharged engines producing over 570 horsepower, they tore down the straights at incredible speeds.
