Toyota Hilux is a Japanese pick-up car produced by Toyota Motor Corporation, which was first presented to the public in 1968.

Its production started the same year and is still going on, which means that the model has been in production for 50 years! Its production took place, among others, in the cities of Hamura and Tahara in Japan.

The Hilux model was developed and put into production in order to expand the commercial offer of the Toyota concern, as well as a successor to the Stout model.
