It came equipped with front dual disc brakes, dual horns, and was the first in its class to offer a fuel gauge and voltmeter—all housed in a luxurious body. With Yamaha’s signature flowing styling and a lightweight, slim, and easy-to-handle design, it quickly became a best-selling classic.
