The Advance Hobby Frigate is a compact, adjustable building jig designed to hold your model securely while keeping both hands free for assembly, painting and detailed work. Its independently positionable hull supports can be moved along the base and adjusted to suit different hull shapes, widths and angles.

Multiple Support Configurations

Two support-arm sizes are included, allowing you to adapt the jig to different hull widths and profiles. Each support is angle-adjustable and lined with self-adhesive foam to help protect the model’s surface.

Built-In Measuring Guides

Simple Flat-Pack Assembly

The Frigate jig arrives as a flat-packed MDF kit and requires assembly with PVA glue. Assembly takes approximately 15–30 minutes, excluding glue-drying time.
