During your turn, bolster your Skills, accumulate treasure, expand your control throughout Middle-earth, recruit Races to your side, or move forward on the Quest of the Ring. Turn Mechanics Each chapter begins with a round where players select cards from an arrangement of hidden and revealed options. A card becomes available for selection only when no other cards cover it. You may either play the card by paying its cost and placing it before you to gain its effects, or set the card aside and collect coins from the pool equal to the chapter number. Players may also claim a Landmark card.
