Walker Models 1/87 HO QR Station Thulimbah 104x60mm building kit

Description

A typical Queensland Rail small rural Station Building, a wooden structure featuring a one piece skillion roof with a wide shady overhang supported by ornate trusses. This neatly reproduced model has been divided into three areas, toilet, an open waiting room, ticket office / storage room.

This style of Station building was common throughout Queensland with minor variations in size and layout.

Finished size 104mm long x 60mm wide x 54mm tall.

This scale model building kit is made from MDF and real wood, with shiplap cladding on the walls and Northeastern scale lumber plastic windows to give a very realistic and authentic look. They are very robust and sturdy once assembled and will last many years without warping or fading.

All kits include step by step building instructions and are extremely easy to build with tab and slot construction and the weatherboards cover the tabs to give an awesome look when finished. The accuracy and quality of the laser cut process means there is little need to trim or sand any components making it easy to assemble and adds greatly to the quality of the finished model.

Alleene’s Tacky Glue, PVA glue (wood glue) or thick super glue is suitable to use to assemble these kits.
