Tamiya 1/10 RC Mitsubishi Pajero

This 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit recreates the Mitsubishi Pajero on the CW-01 chassis. After the announcement of its concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1973, the Mitsubishi Pajero was one of the most recognizable Mitsubishi 4WD cars, sold from 1982 to 2021 through a fourth model change. At the 1983 Paris-Dakar Rally, this car took a championship in an unmodified production vehicle division, and after that, showed off its great performance around the world. This kit recreates the first-generation model which was produced from 1982 to 1990. Based upon Item 58499 1/10 R/C Mitsubishi Montero Wheelie, tires are changed from massive 115mm big ones to rock block ones, and the kit features the CVA II short oil dampers.

2WD Chassis
The durable and easy-to-assemble 2WD chassis employs a box type frame and features front independent swingarms and a rear rolling rigid suspension. A sealed gearbox protects the diff gear from dirt and sand during off-road driving.

Known in Japan as the Pajero, this venerable vehicle has been a worldwide hit since its debut in 1982, and here its body is given a comical reworking for use on this R/C model assembly kit.

The boxy body is molded in durable and detailed plastic, with delightful details such as the cabin, bumpers and big over fenders.

At the rear in the cargo space are a roll bar with spotlights, a tool case and more.

Stickers are included to decorate the model.

The CW-01 Chassis The 2WD CW-01 chassis is built around a tough box frame, with front swing axle and rear rolling rigid suspension setups and CVA oil dampers, plus white 5-spoke wheels and large-diameter tires for a dynamic off-road drive.

Sealed to keep out dust and dirt, the gearbox contains a differential for smooth cornering, and the rear is fitted with a wheelie bar - give it some throttle for wheels-in-the-air action!
