Dragon 1/72 SAS Bushmaster Plastic Model Kit 7701

The Bushmaster is an Australian-built 4WD armoured vehicle. Designed by Australian Defence Industries and currently produced by Thales Australia, the Bushmaster is an iconic PMV that has served the ADF for over two decades. Capable of carrying 9 soliders, equipment, fuel and supplies for 3 days. It is a mine protected vehicle that is rated to protect against 7.62mm ball ammunition. This kit has a Remote Weapon Station (RWS) attached.

This kit is compatible with existing 1/72 Bushmaster decals.

The kit is brilliantly detailed in this 1/72 scale.

Slide molds provide major assemblies such as the lower hull and upper compartment.

Other details such as the chassis bottom and suspension are depicted, as is the Kongsberg Protector remote weapon station atop the roof and mounting a 12.7mm machine gun.

Befitting an SAS variant, there is a hefty bull bar mounted on the nose of the Bushmaster.

This model is more than ready to be inserted into a modern-day diorama depicting combat operations in Afghanistan or Iraq.

It might be a Bushmaster, but it is master of desert or arid terrain too!
