Description

The Harushio is called a 3rd generation submarine, and uses complete double shell system and a tear drop type hull. The silhouette is similar to the Yushio type, but there is a projection section of the countermeasure intelligence sonar where it differs in the appearance extending to the bow top that makes it is possible to distinguish them. The hull was extended about 1 meter in total length attendant upon inside of warship space enlargement in comparison with the Yushio type. It is technically derived from the previous Yushio class, but silent running characteristic are strengthened and there are some improvements in underwater capability.

Description
Imperial Japans last hope

After four carriers were sunk at Midway, the Japanese converted Shinano from a battleship into a carrier. In secret, Japanese crews built the ship with steel scoured from across Japan. With repair and storage facilities for nearly 200 aircraft, she was the largest carrier ever built. Her crew complement was 2,400 men. Shortly after launch, she set sail for Kure to pick up aircraft. She never made it. The U.S. submarine Archer Fish sent the Shinano to the bottom with four torpedoes. This kit features a waterline-hull Shinano model.

Description
The IJNs tenacious WWII battlecruiser.

One of the largest, heaviest battleships ever constructed, the Yamato displaced a whopping 72,800 tons at full load. She was armed with nine 46 cm (18 in) main guns, which is the largest caliber artillery ever recorded for any warship. Surprisingly, the only time the Yamato ever fired her guns was during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944. Today, her legacy lives on at the Yamato Museum, which opened in 2005 to educate visitors about Japans rich naval history. Kit features a waterline hull and anti-aircraft guns.

The Japanese Navys Last Heavy Cruiser
The Chikuma was completed in May 1939 as the second ship of the Tone-class. She was the final heavy cruiser to be built by the Japanese Navy and featured a distinctive design which concentrated four twin 20.3cm main gun turrets forward of the bridge in order to allow unimpeded launching of her six floatplanes from the aft deck during battle. Chikuma often accompanied the Japanese Navys aircraft carriers since her floatplanes provided considerable reconnaissance capabilities to the fleet, and she was present at such important engagements as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Midway. She continued to serve valiantly until her demise at the hands of U.S. carrier aircraft during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944.
