Oxford HO Leyland Cub FK7 Leamington Fire Brigade OXF-76LC003

Oxford - 1/76 Leyland Cub FK7 Leamington Fire Brigade

The Borough of Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire took delivery of this smart Leyland FK9 semi-enclosed limousine pump escape in September 1939, during an era when many fire brigades were still buying open topped fire engines. It was equipped with a 50 ft wheeled escape ladder and a 500 gallon per minute midships pump representing the epitome of fire engine design in the months leading up to the start of World War 2.

This model is decorated in red and black with lots of silver chrome coachlines to mudguards and bonnet.
