E-Flite Mystique RES 2.9M ARF Glider
EFL4915
Description
Description
The E-flite® Mystique® RES 2.9 m ARF sailplane is inspired by the popular full-house Mystique 2.9 m except it has been specially modified to provide exquisite performance with only rudder, elevator and spoiler controls.
Its large wingspan is built with just the right amount of polyhedral to provide gentle flight characteristics yet still have the authority to turn abruptly into a thermal the instant it's sensed. The Selig S3021 airfoil provides excellent handling over a wide speed range, plus the all-wood open-wing construction keeps weight to a minimum so you can take advantage of even the smallest amount of lift. Built-in spoilers offer the ability to dump lift so you have control to escape a thermal and perform spot landings with greater precision. The contour of the molded fiberglass fuselage is sleek yet provides ample room for its pushrods to run internally and still have room for a powerful Li-Po motor battery.

Known as one of the most famous fighters to never see combat with
U.S. forces, the North American FJ-2 Fury was built for the U.S.
Navy and flew with the Marines in defense against the MiG-15 threat
over Korea during the 1950s. It was a jet powered dog-fighter that
pilots loved and it helped to pave the way for modern super-sonic
air combat. Borrowing from the success of the very similar F-86H
Sabre, the Fury filled a distinctive role in a time when speed was
king.
The E-flite® FJ-2 Fury airplane recreates the famous
Navy jet fighter so you can enjoy thrilling jet flight at your local
flying field. From the accuracy of the model outline to the
efficient EDF system, this FJ-2 delivers stunning scale appearance
and rock-solid performance. But the best feature of this Fury is an
innovation that full-scale pilots back in the day could only dream
about. Built into the included Spektrum AR636A receiver is an AS3X®
system that's been specially tuned for this airplane.
The
advanced AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization 3-aXis) system built into
the Spektrum AR636A 6-channel receiver works behind the scenes to
help counter the effects of wind and turbulence by combining 3-axis
sensing with exclusively tuned flight control software. As a result,
your workload to fly smoothly is significantly reduced so you'll
feel as if you are at the controls of an expertly tuned jet that's
much larger.
Whether you're an intermediate pilot looking for
a performance upgrade or a scale pilot looking for grab-and-go EDF
convenience, the E-flite FJ-2 Fury is ideal. All you need to start
flying today is the 3200mAh 4S 14.8V Li-Po flight battery a suitable
charger and your favorite full-range 4+ channel aircraft transmitter
with Spektrum DSM2®/DSMX® technology.
Precise
ControlÂ
The Spektrum AR636A sport AS3X®
receiver delivers rock-solid handling for a realistic jet experience.
Efficient
Ducting
The internal ducting is sculpted for maximum
efficiency so you get the highest level of scale accuracy and EDF
performance.
Lightweight and Strong
Durable
Z-Foam construction makes it possible to replicate complex airframe
detail and keep weight low.
Scale Detail
The
cockpit detail and authentic outline are true to the U.S. Navys
first swept-wing jet.
Removable Wheels and Drop-Tanks
The
fixed landing gear and drop tanks can be removed for faster flight
performance.

The Commander mPd 1.4m park flyer is the result of a collaboration between veteran aircraft designer, David Payne, and the founder of Aircraft Design Studio, Mirco Pecorari. It is an entirely new design that blends classic lines with modern influences to give pilots a one-of-a-kind sport flying experience. It also incorporates innovative features like a Hands-Free Servo Connection System that lets you plug in or remove the wings without having to fuss with servo leads. This Bind-N-Fly® Basic version also gives you the extra stability of an AS3X® receiver with optional SAFE® Select flight envelope protection.
Distinctive Design
David Payne and Mirco
Pecorari drew from a wide variety full-scale and model aviation
influences when designing the Commander mPd park flyer. They wanted
it to stand out from the crowd yet still possess all the
pilot-friendly flight characteristics that make traditional sport
planes so much fun. In the process they also added little extras
like a pilot figure as well as molded-in details like ribs on the
wing and elevator, panel lines, fuel caps and more.
Wide
Flight Envelope
A powerful brushless power system, light
wing loading and factory-installed flaps work together to give the
model a wide flight envelope. Control response is so smooth and
predictable that anyone moving up from a trainer will feel
comfortable right away. More experienced pilots will find that
aggressive aerobatics like rolling circles and knife-edge flight
feel crisp and precise and can be performed with power to spare.
Brushless
Power System and Functional Flaps
The powerful 15-size
brushless motor is paired with a 45A ESC that can handle high-output
3S 2200-3200mAh LiPo batteries. All this available power, along with
the functional flaps, gives the airplane impressive short-field
takeoff and landing performance in addition to its other fantastic
flying qualities.
Easy Assembly and Hands-Free Servo
Connectors
Out of the box, it only takes 8 screws to
complete initial assembly. After that, all you have are the 4 wing
screws whenever you want to remove or attach the wings. You don't
even have to touch the servo leads. An innovative Hands-Free Servo
Connection System automatically plugs in the aileron and flap servo
connectors whenever you attach the wing.
AS3X
Receiver with Optional SAFE Select Technology
The models
AS3X (Artificial Stabilization 3-aXis) receiver works behind the
scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence. The result
is a sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like
you're flying an expertly tuned aircraft.
This receiver also
features optional SAFE® Select technology that you can turn on and
off with the flip of a transmitter switch. With SAFE Select
technology activated, you get:
Pitch and Bank Angle
Limits
These keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching
upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles
during takeoff and landing.
Automatic Self-Leveling
Instantly
returns the wings to level when the sticks are released.
2200-3200mAh 3S LiPo flight battery
3S compatible LiPo charger
