Bronco 1/35 British Bishop 25PDR BRO-35077
The Bishop was the result of a desperate requirement during the North African campaign in 1941 to field some sort of self-propelled gun based on the 25 pounder. As a result the Bishop was never considered a success, suffering from too low a speed because of it being based on a Valentine II chassis, too high a silhouette because of the large box-like structure used to protect the crew and mount the gun, and limited elevation that resulted. It was quickly replaced in favour of the M7 Priest when that became available.
